The screw filter press is the latest development in the sludge dewatering process. The wastewater carrying sludge will be pumped to the flocculation unit for the polymer dosing then its fed to the slow speed rotating screw. The water gets squeezed through sludge due to rotating action and the clear water drain by gravity and the sludge drain out from the top.
